Little About NEPAsarge

Hello Veterans, supporters, and fans,

I apologize that I didn't tell you a little about me, NEPAsarge. First off let me explain to you a little about my military career. I started my military career going to a military college. There I attended college and also joined the Corps of Cadets. There I went through Rook year which consisted of being a freshman at college and enduring the trials and tribulations of a first year cadet. Following that I enlisted into the United States Army as a fuel handler.

I served over in Iraq in 2003 where I assisted in building the pipeline, operating the pipeline, and providing security. While serving overseas in Iraq I experienced fire, mortars, and harsh conditions. Following that deployment I was stationed in Cuba, at GITMO. There I was the public affairs officer where I represented this country.

Military:
Served in 10th Mountain, 42nd QM BN, 3rd ID, 94th RSC, 99th RSC

Education:
I have a BS in Health Care Science. I am presently getting my BS in Social Work and also getting my Graduate Certificate in Geriatric Care Manager. I plan to continue to get my Masters in Social Work and Family counseling. I also have education in Journalism, Public Affairs, and Fuel Handling.

Hobbies:
I love scuba diving (Advanced Diver). I try to spend at least every other weekend diving in the NEPA. I also love camping. The outdoors offer so much and I love to take advantage of all of it.

Family:
I have a wonderful wife who has been with me through my military career. I also have two wonderful boys that mean the most to me.

Sports:
Football: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hockey: Penguins
Baseball: Red Sox
Basketball: Pacers
NASCAR: Joe Nemechek
and of course any RUGBY game.

Political:
I am an advocate for positive social change. I ran for political office before and I am taking a break to soon go back into the arena. I am also an advocate for the National Association for Social Workers. I dedicate most of my time supporting their issues. I also spend the other half supporting Veteran issues and assisting where I can.

Clubs:
Member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS, and many other organizations. I always speak for veterans and encourage others to do the same. I am a member of the Boys Scouts of America where I help the NEPA Council.

I thank you again for supporting my blog and encourage your participation. I will be trying to post what the weeks topic will be. I will then write about that topic through out the week. This week coming up will be about Homeless Veterans.

Thank you for your support and this Wonderful Nation,

NEPAsarge
